SPEED NOW COMES WITH TOUCH

New SPEED racquet series from HEAD is the first to feature Graphene Touch

Kennelbach/Austria, September 2016:

Designed for the fast pace of today’s game and recommended by the world’s No. 1 player Novak Djokovic, the new SPEED racquet series is the very first to feature the new Graphene Touch technology for a more solid, dampened feel. By adding a special shock-absorbent material to Graphene, the world’s strongest yet lightest material, the new technology delivers unparalleled touch without compromising on the power level of Graphene. In addition to the new Graphene Touch technology, the SPEED racquet series also conquers courts with its unique design. Based on Novak’s favorite animal, the racquet features several falcon-inspired design elements such as an iconic feather plumage pattern and a falcon head integrated into the SPEED logo. The bold red decals mixed into to the mainly black and white frame give the racquet a fast and energetic look.

HEAD will celebrate the launch of the new racquet series with a special online activation that lets consumers experience what playing at the speed of light looks like. Following the official launch in September, tennis fans can use their smart phones to record and share their “speed shot” with a special motion capturing technology. Among all participants, one lucky winner will receive a brand new SPEED racquet handed over by Novak Djokovic at the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals.

The SPEED series consists of six different models to cater to players’ individual playing style and personal preferences. While the SPEED PRO, MP, S, and LITE will hit retail on September 23, two more models will be available as of January 19, 2017.
