While we are happy to raise an order to meet such needs, and you might be surprised how quickly we can get it, we are always happy to recommend other stores if they are not satisfied we our time-scale or if we cannot supply their request.

Our “Hitting Wall” will be one of only a few in the UK . It will give Racket Players the opportunity to try out their Racket in store . It is 6m by 3m in size and has been supported by Wilson Tennis.

This “Hitting Wall” , along with our NEW Racket Diagnostic Centre will give us a unique and real Specialist feel. There is no other racket shop (or general sports shop) in the Midlands that offers this combination.

The Racket Diagnostic Machine offers the Player the chance to customise their Racket(s), we can match rackets’ weight and balance, we can make your “Favourite Racket” a thing of the past as we can make your spare identical”.

 

Racket Diagnostic Centre

Racket-Tuning-CentreWe have recently invested in a new Prince Racket Diagnostic Centre (Prince Precision Tuning Centre). This will enable us to measure the 3 most critical characteristics of a racquet:

  • weight
  • balance
  • swing weight

With this equipment we can ensure that your rackets are identical. No more ‘favourite’ racket. Each one can now feel and play exactly the same – unless of course you, like the pros, have different stringing tension or types to suit different conditions.

So, now there is no excuse tennis, squash and rackets players across the Midlands will see their consistency rocket!

Bowls – we are now selling Bowls online

,

No longer do we just sell bowls equipment (shoes, clothing, bags and accessories) but now we are selling Bowls too. We currently have three different bowls on the website

As time goes on we hope our successful re-entry to the sale of Bowls equipment through our Leicester shop will extend to success on line.

Sports Equipment for Christmas

Just in case you are thinking of giving Sport Equipment as a Christmas present we have two initiatives you might like.

In-Store – Sunday Opening

Firstly, for those of you who visit us in-store (35 Market Street, Leicester – in case you had forgotten), we are opening on every Sunday leading up to Christmas – our opening times are 09.30 to 17.00 each Sunday until the 18th December.

Online – Free Shipping (to Mainland UK)

Secondly, for those who buy their sports equipment online, we have extended our free postage offer until 31st December for all UK shipments. This does exclude the Highlands and Islands as, unfortunately (and those of you who are fortunate enough to live in such wonderful places will be well aware), costs to deliver to these places vary significantly and are considerably higher than for mainland UK addresses.
