The latest addition to the Wilson range sees the launch of the Wilson Ultra. With updated technology and brand new cosmetics, the Wilson Ultra will have you playing with more power and better accuracy.

Designed to fit most play styles, the Wilson Ultra offers you unlimited power. This brand new range features Countervail (Ultra 100 CV only), Power Rib and Crush Zone technologies that enhance the sweet spot by 15%!

The Ultra 100 CV features one of Wilson’s latest technology; Countervail. It is exclusively integrated into Wilson frame’s that directs the ball’s energy within the frame instead of the body. It is used heavily in the aerospace industry to increase energy during movement in extreme conditions, while Tour de France-winning bikes have it in their frames to help cyclists conserve energy during the most brutal stages. It was found during testing that a racket with Countervail in has a 30% reduction in vibration as well as 40% more control over shots compared to previous Wilson models.

As well as the introduction of Countervail, you will see a new design feature in the throat of the racket. They call this Power Rib, an enhanced racket throat geometry at a crucial part of the frame, due to this part of the frame being the area that twists and bends more than any other. This provides greater stability and stiffness, resulting in more power and control. Power Rib technology has been added into these frames alongside Crush Zone technology. This is a new grommet system that compresses at impact to let the ball sit on the strings longer, producing better feel and more potential energy that will give you more power. All this put together have enhanced the sweet spot by 15%.

The specifications on the Ultra 100CV haven’t changed at all from the previous model. It features a 16×19 string pattern, 32cm balance point, a 100sq in head and weighing in at 300g. This is definitely a racket that will fit most play styles and is a racket that you can instantly pick up and get on with.
Sitting alongside the Ultra 100CV on our shelves will be the Ultra 100L and the Ultra 100UL.

The Ultra 100L features a 100sq in head, a 16×19 string pattern, a 32.5cm balance point and weighs in at 277g. Offering you more manoeuvrability than the Ultra 100CV, this is a racket that is perfect for juniors looking to make that step up from their first full size racket and for someone wanting a racket that offers them an ideal weight to get started.

If you wanting a racket for a junior looking for their first racket up from a 26” or an adult that is starting out and wants a lightweight performance frame, then the Ultra 100UL will be the one to look at. Weighing in at 257g, with a 33cm balance point, a 16×19 string pattern and a 100sq in head and will offer you easy playability.
