The Astrox range are Yonex’s most attack orientated rackets and have super seeded the out-going Voltric range. Astrox rackets are known as ‘counterbalance’ frames. This means they will offer a more precise weight distribution throughout the grip end, frame top and joint, thus increasing the rotational power the racket provides.
The brand new Astrox 77 is different – power is effortless and accessible to all. The new Astrox 77 is designed with a mid-flex shaft and a manoeuvrable, slightly heavy head which grants extra power for a wide range of players from intermediate to advanced. This second-generation sports improvements in the hitting feel by enhancing shock absorption, and in power by balancing snapback and flex.
The original Astrox 77 was designed for intermediate to advanced players looking to dominate the court with steep smashes. The new Astrox 77 is a further evolved version of its predecessor, featuring new technologies for better performances and a 2.9% increase in smash power. The joint at the bottom of the frame is composed of a new resin material, Flex Fuse, which combines a shock-absorbing material with base resin for a softer feel on impact. The new elongated shaft is equipped with NamdTM, a carbon-graphite material that generates quick snapback to accompany the extra flex. The addition of the E.B.Cap Plus (Energy Boost Cap Plus) is used for further snapback.

Namd: Utilising high quality Namd graphite throughout the frame produces more flex with a faster snap back, unleashing dramatic steep power.
Aero+Box Frame – A combination of faster swing speeds and a solid feel.
Isometric – Increases the size of your sweet spot.
Rotational Generator System: By applying the counterbalance theory, weight is distributed throughout the grip end, frame top and the joint for maximum control. The transition to the next shot can be performed smoothly with rapid succession.
Super Slim Shaft: The slimmest racket ever produced by Yonex vastly reduces air resistance whilst providing maximum feel.
Energy Boost Cap Plus: Uniquely shaped cap which maximises shaft performance.The front allows the shaft to flex, while the sides arch-shaped curve stabilises the racquet face by preventing the shaft from twisting.

Choose your string
String choice is incredibly important as the string is what makes contact with the shuttle. There’s a number of factors to take into account, such as construction, gauge, tension. A thinner gauge string will pull up tighter, increasing the potential for more power and control, but durability will be sacrificed. Your main string is textured with a rough feel to it allowing the string to grip the shuttle more for those precise cut smashes or hairpin net shots. | Yonex Aersonic 0.61mm: | The world’s thinnest string provides you with maximum power and an extremely high hitting sound. Featuring a new “compact filled” construction which has allowed the gaps between the core and outer threads to be filled with resin to provide extra durability for such a thin gauge! |

| Yonex BG65Ti 0.70mm: | Our best selling string, suitable for a variety of players from beginners to advanced competitors. A titanium coating on the string increases durability and also enhances the power you can generate from the string. Still used by many of the world’s top players. |
