Babolat Propulse Fury

With the start of the New Year and the first grand slam into its final stages we have seen the Propulse Fury out on court a little bit more since its debut at the US Open in 2016. Benoît Paire endorses the Fury, taking over from Andy Roddick as the ambassador for the Propulse range he has big shoes to fill (pardon the pun!). One of the first times Benoît wore the shoe was at the US Open, a big challenge for a new shoe! It has now been put to the test in Australia, in the end Benoît lost to Dominic Thiem at the end of the first week, where the Propulse has definitely had a fair few hours on court. The Propulse Fury is designed to offer the player a dynamic, comfortable and stable pair of shoes. Giving the player confidence to move around the court as they usually would and not be worried about taking the risk and stretching for that final ball.

At Withers we have worn the shoe both in the shop and on court and are pleased to say they are more than comfortable enough to be worn for long periods of time but also supportive and durable enough to know that once you get out on court you know that you are definitely wearing a tennis shoe. We like the redesigned upper, it is much more durable than that of a traditional mesh upper and with the slightly higher line of the shoe around the ankle you can really feel the extra support on offer. The Propulse Fury also really makes a statement on court, the aesthetics really set it apart on the shelf – its no surprise then that this has been one of our more popular shoes since they arrived on our shelves.

A great shoe that complements the rest of the Babolat range. To find out any more information about the Babolat Propusle Fury give us a call on 0116 2622113 or pop in and try them on.
