Monday 15th June 2020 – Today marks the day that we re-open.

Things will be different for both you and us. Changes have been made, some more noticeable than others but all are in place to ensure that we bring you the safest environment possible.

We ask that you adhere to all of the measures that we have put in place when visiting us, we have been looking forward to the day in which we can welcome you back to the shop but the importance of certain guidelines cannot be ignored.

Throughout this period of closure we have been busy improving and redeveloping. Our website has undergone huge changes and updates will continue to happen. Our aim is to ensure that customers can easily access not only the products they require but the correct advice, should they need it. We’ve been doing this in-store for 80 years and we’d like our website to offer the same. We’re on hand if you need to talk to us and ask questions, we can guide you through the process whether it be a new racket, running shoes or trying to find that perfect gift.

We know getting into the City Centre isn’t always possible and at the moment you might not feel comfortable coming in. So, we will continue to operate our local home delivery and collection service, bringing everything to your doorstep (that includes a friendly face and a smile too!). However, if you do want to come into the City Centre but would feel more comfortable in a controlled, quiet environment then Sundays are for you. We’re offering appointment only opening on Sundays. 45 minute slots, on the hour, between 11am and 4pm. Please get in touch with us (0116 2622113) to find out more and book your appointment.

A note on our other stores. The Leicestershire Tennis and Squash Club store is CLOSED, the courts may be open but unfortunately the clubhouse is not so we cannot open. Fear not, we’re close and can get things to you, just give us a call on 0116 2622113 and we can help. Our other stores at David Lloyd West Bridgford and David Lloyd Coventry also remain CLOSED, we will update you as soon as we know more but if you’re local to either don’t forget we’re still on hand to help if you need us and we can deliver too.
