Sophie started playing when she was 8 years old at Shepshed and has been training at Leicestershire Performance Centre for 3 years. She has played for Loughborough badminton club for the last two seasons in senior ladies 2nd team, helping them to win league this year. Sophie trains 5 days a week which makes it difficult to fit in time for any other hobbies but she enjoys shopping and going out.
