The Astrox range are Yonex’s most attack orientated rackets and have super seeded the out-going Voltric range. Astrox rackets are known as ‘counterbalance’ frames. This means they will offer a more precise weight distribution throughout the grip end, frame top and joint, thus increasing the rotational power the racket provides.
The top end of the Taiwanese made Astrox, the Astrox 9 is stiffer compared to the Astrox 7, Astrox 5FX and Astrox FB that we offer, allowing you to have more control from the racket. As is with all Yonex rackets, this features their famous Isometric head shape which will increase the sweet spot on the racket. Therefore, even if you are hitting slightly off centre, you will find it a lot more forgiving compared to a conventional head shape.
The Astrox is an attack-orientated model which can take the lead in a high-speed game with a design that can deliver powerful, steep smashes, allowing you to dominate the court.
Rotational Generator System: By applying the counterbalance theory, weight is distributed throughout the grip end, frame top and the joint for maximum control. The transition to the next shot can be performed smoothly with rapid succession.
New Built-in-T-Joint – The lightweight T-Joint increases stability of the shuttle on the strings, maximising power and control.
Isometric: Increases the size of your sweet spot.
New Grommet Pattern: The single-pass grommet hole construction provides more grommet holes for a more high-performance stringing pattern.
AEROBOX FRAME: Combines solid hitting feel and quick swing.
Control Support Cap:The control support cap provides an 88% wider flat surface compared with an ordinary racket for easier gripping, fast follow-through and the sharpest manoeuvrability.
