Description
The Adidas Drive 3.1 is part of Adidas’ discovery range for people who are just starting to play Padel Tennis and the racket consists of 2 main characteristics: a large hitting surface and more comfort.
A fiber glass surface allows for more flexibility from the racket, increasing the ball output and comfort. With the racket in a static position or in low-speed shots, greater flexibility allows the paddle rubber to work harder and achieve greater ball bounce. Density is the main property of the rubber and the one that defines its memory, which means the ability of the rubber to recover its initial position in a shorter time. A low density EVA rubber allows the ball to be pushed back efficiently and with greater impulsion.
Durability is also key and these 2 technologies, ‘Smart Holes Lineal’ and ‘Structural Reinforcement’ reinforce the areas of greatest stress on the racket.
- Smart Holes Lineal: The arrangement of the equidistant holes in groups of 3 strengthens the surface and improves the durability of the racket.
- Structural Reinforcement: Perimeter reinforcements of the entire racket that allow you to generate greater resistance to the high torsions the racket suffer.
The round shaping of the racket brings the weight closer to the fist and the sweet spot to the centre of the frame, which gives the player more control of the racket in defensive shots that require greater agility in their movements.
