Acknowledgement and availability of orders

We will acknowledge all orders by e-mail, this will be followed by an email upon dispatch of your order.

Delivery

Delivery times are 3-4 working days from date of dispatch. For an order to be sent out on the same day we need to receive it by midday. Next Day delivery is available for most orders, there is an additional charge of £6 for this service. Please ensure that any instruction given to delivery drivers for when there is no answer is clear and orders are to be left in a safe place. We will not be responsible if your order is lost or stolen after being left due to your instruction. Working days do not include Saturday and Sunday. Saturday delivery may be available at an extra cost, please get in touch.

We are currently only delivering within the UK. Due to fluctuating delivery costs to non-Mainland UK orders please get in touch prior to placing your order on 0116 2622113 so that we can quote you the postage charge. If your address is not covered on our shipping chart please get it touch. Further to our current UK only delivery statement customers should also be aware that due to Babolat selective distribution agreement, we are unable to ship Babolat products outside of the UK, Swiss and European Economic Area.

Cancellations/Returns

The process starts from the original day of purchase and ends 14 days thereafter. If you cancel before item(s) have been dispatched we will offer a full refund. If you cancel after the item(s) are dispatched and return to us within 14 days of the original purchase date we will refund but you will be responsible for the cost of returning item(s) to us.

All items(s) being returned need to be in the original packaging with all labels attached (in a condition that the item can be sold again as new). Once received we will refund all monies within 30 days. If item(s) are not to returned to us as stated above we reserve the right to refuse them and they will be returned to you or collected by you, at your expense.

Your right to cancel will not be accepted for when the cancellation period has been exceeded.

Damaged/Faulty Item(s)

If you receive a product that you deem to be damaged or faulty and you wish to it return to be exchanged or refunded please notify us within 3 working days from receipt of goods. If notification exceeds the 3 day window we cannot reimburse any postage costs that you may incur returning the item(s). We will inspect on receipt of item(s) and will then either replace, refund or repair in line with your consumer rights.

Any clothing, equipment or footwear returned due to a poor fit or just a change of mind will be refunded or exchanged provided it is within the returns window. However, unless the item is deemed faulty or sent in error we will be unable to refund your postage costs.

String breakages

This is always a grey area but as a rule we would say that if a string breaks within the frame within 2 weeks of use we would usually restring free of charge, one time only, with a string of the same quality. In this situation you are responsible for the postage costs in returning the racket to us. Where the string has broken on the outside of the frame we will not restring free of charge as nearly all string breakages on the outside of the frame occur due to contact with the court.

Withersonline Demo Service

Choose a racket to try from our racket selections. Any racket that is available in our demo programme will be listed in the grip size drop down menu as “Demo this racket”. As a rule, nearly all performance rackets (rackets priced at £125 or above) will be in our DEMO programme.

There are no grip size options on demo rackets. If you wish to increase the size to suit yourself then we are happy for you to do so (please remember that an overgrip has already been added due to hygiene measures relating to the COVID pandemic).

To demo a racket we simply charge you the selling price of the chosen racket, which is inclusive of a £15 demo fee. Once the racket(s) are returned, after inspection, we will either refund your account minus the £15.00 demo fee (this charge is per racket) OR if you wish to make a purchase we will send out your preferred racket. Please note that the demo fee does not occur if a racket purchase is made.

We allow no more than two rackets at a time to be tried. Please note that the demo charge (£15.00) is based on the number of rackets. So if you take two rackets out then the charge when the rackets are returned will be £30 (providing the rackets are returned to us in similar condition – please see below).

We do have the right to charge an additional fee if we feel that the racket has been misused/ill-treated or late getting back to us BUT please note that this will be discussed beforehand. We very much hope that this will not happen but as a matter of precaution we feel the need to include this.

Demo rackets are allowed to be kept for 12 days only. This time scale Includes postage both ways, which we allow an average of 2 days to get to you and 2 days for you to get back to us. Taking this into account should allow you 8 days of usage. If a racket is returned to us late and we have not been advised of a delay then we have the right to charge an additional fee.

Please call us to discuss anything with regards to this service, we are here to help. We would obviously prefer to see you in-store so that more accurate advice and support can be given. However, we understand that with the COVID pandemic that it is not always possible to get in to see us so this demo service offers another option.
