Walking Shoes

Why Do I Need Walking Shoes?

Walkers do have their own unique stride; they have a different foot motion style to runners and require cushioning and support in a different way. Walking shoes have technologies to guide your feet through the entire walking gait from the initial strike to the final push off. Walkers require cushioning in the heel, they also need added flexibility when the heel impacts the ground, and this will reduce shock and the rate of pronation. Walkers also require a flexible fore foot, the more the shoe flexes in the fore foot the more power you can generate to propel you forward. Flex groves in the fore foot help increase the shoes flexibility. They have the added benefit of reducing the shoes weight.
