Hi everyone, if I could take a couple of minutes of your time to let me introduce myself.
My name’s Ollie and I’m the Chief Stringer at Withers Sports.
I have been working here for nearly 8 years now full time, coming all the way from a Saturday lad, part time and right through to the present. With working here, it’s very difficult not to get intrigued into the art of stringing racquets and now it’s more of an obsession/hobby for me rather than something I just to do on a daily basis.
With the growing interest I found myself having in this, I wanted to take things to the next step.
I was recently selected to become part of the Yonex UK Professional Stringing Team, where if called upon, will string racquets for some of the world’s best players, whether that be Tennis or Badminton.
Hopefully in these blogs, I can try and advise/guide you, if you are having difficulty deciding on what type of string you would like putting in your racquets and also a bit of racquet technology along the way!

Please note: Restrings cannot be reserved, you must drop off your racket on Friday 21st or Saturday 22nd, we may be unable to offer same day restring turnaround and we cannot substitute the string for another option.
